Really Learn to Ride at First Farm Inn
Here's your chance to really learn to ride a horse. Not a drugged-out or sadly abused bag of bones, not a nose-to-tail "trail ride" with 20 people, but really sit up, take charge and move with a healthy, happy horse with a mind of its own.
First Farm Inn rides on a diverse assortment of friendly and healthy horses generally include only up to five riders and one or two instructors. Wear straight-legged jeans and a hard-soled shoe with a heel.
The two+ hour experience includes grooming and tacking up, learning about horses and their habits, then practicing steering and control in the riding arena, before moving out to ride over the fields and through the woods. Rides are $50 per person for two or more people. Stay overnight for the complete country bed and breakfast experience and relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. | | | Top Of Page | | | | Oak Creek Campground | | | 859-585-9131 | | | Located at Hwy 16 & Oak Creek Road the Oak Creek Campground has RV sites | | | Top Of Page | | | | River Ridge Park | | | 859-586-7282 | | | River Ridge Park on Lower River Road at Kentucky 18 has RV sites | | | Top Of Page | | | | Wildwood Inn | | | 859-371-6300 | | | Wildwood Inn at 7809 US 42 in Florence offers a unique lodging experience with a variety of themed suites ranging from the Arctic Cave and Aladdin Room to the Egyptian Room and New Mexico Cave. | | | Top Of Page | | |
